Max make over

Max also had his bath and mane pulled today so here is his before pic.

After having his mane pulled (it was windy) but just how beautiful is this boy?

After his bath.

And of course just what he thinks of that.

Most importantly of all we have over come the issue that has been plaguing us for a couple of months now...since I let someone ride him who let him start napping. He suddenly refused to go out alone with resultant tantrums that ranged from almost throwing himself on the floor to ending up at the bottom of a very large ditch. I so wanted to over come this and I came up with the idea of riding him in blinkers, the theory being he can only see forward he will only go forward and hey presto it worked. Max is not only hacking out alone again bur confidently too and I've ordered him some racing blinkers so he won't have to ridden in a driving bridle. He is currently being ridden and schooled by Naomi Chappell (Clip-Clop Equestrian). Thank you so much Naomi you are doing a great job with him.

Olivers make over

Decided Oliver needed a bath and his mane pulling. So this is him before we started.
After his make over...very posh boy Oliver

That's what he thought of that....oh well horses will be horses. Thank You Naomi for doing his and Max's manes today.

Sylvie

Our little Sylvie...still a bit wary of us but at least she's stopped hiding under the wall units. She lets us pick her up now too...bless her she's done so well in just a few days.

Introducing Sylvie

This is our new kitten Sylvie. We collected her today. She had been coming last Sunday but after losing Miss Sherlock I couldn't bear to collect her until today. Sylvie is a lovely silver tabby kitten. Still a bit bewildered by her new surroundings but I'm sure she'll come out of her shell soon. Thankyou to our good friend Shelly for giving us Sylvie.
