Looking for a new home

This is ‘George’ he is an approximately 12 month old black Labrador found wandering the streets of St Georges Park, Kirkham, Lancashire. Enquiries with the police, local vets and dog warden have drawn a blank in terms of finding his owners and no-one is looking for him on DogLost etc so it does seem likely that he has been deliberately abandoned :o( The person who found him cannot keep him and all attempts to find him a rescue space have failed (everyone is full!) so I’m afraid he’s landed up here with us rather than face being PTS. He’s been seen by a vet and declared fit and healthy, he has a good recall, plays with toys and fetches, he’s got a lovely temperament and is very friendly with people and other dogs and is looking for the perfect forever home. He will need vaccinating and castrating.
